INVITATION TO BID FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAMS (CHP) HEALTH AND DENTAL CENTER
DENTAL CENTER ALTERATIONS

Electronic bids for Dental Center Alterations, 444 Stockbridge Road, Great Barrington, MA 01230, will be received until December 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Bids shall be made as described herein and in accordance with drawings and specifications prepared by Hill-Engineers, Architects, Planners, Inc., Dalton, MA.

This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be submitted online at projectdog.com. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority. Tutorials and Instructions are available online at projectdog.com. For assistance, contact Projectdog Inc. at 978-499-9014.

Bid Forms and Contract Documents shall be available online at projectdog.com. Log in, enter the Project Code 856136 in the search box, and select “Acquire Documents.” Bid documents are made available to all bidders in electronic form at no cost; bidders desiring hard copies of the Drawings and Specifications shall be solely responsible for all costs related to printing and shipping of hard copy documents. Neither Owner nor Architect/Engineer shall be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than Projectdog, Inc.

A mandatory (one-time) pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held as described in the

‘Information to Bidders’ section of the Bidding Documents.

This project is supported by grants including: 1) The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services Community Health Center Capital Investment Grant Program in the amount of $ 1,647,287.04; and 2) The Town of Great Barrington American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, also known as the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program, in the amount of $150,000. All subcontracts entered must comply with all applicable federal rules and guidelines, must incorporate the Massachusetts Commonwealth Standard Terms and Conditions and the Commonwealth Standard Contract Form, and subcontractors must comply with all data privacy and data security provisions. This project does not require DCAM-certified contractors; however, no contractor that is debarred within the state of Massachusetts will be eligible or allowed to work on the project.

This project will not require the use of prevailing wages.

Filed sub-bids are not required for this project.

The use of Minority or Women-owned businesses are encouraged, and every attempt shall be made to encourage these entities either as general contractor or subcontractor.

Community Health Programs of Berkshire County reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, whole or in part, for the best interest of the project at CHP.
