Community Health Programs will soon add dental care at its medical practice location at 71 Hospital Ave. The newly expanded CHP North Adams Family Medicine and Dental Center will welcome new dental patients beginning in mid-March.
“We look forward to welcoming new patients at our North Adams dental office,” said Lia Spiliotes, CEO of Community Health Programs, which has dental practices in Pittsfield and Great Barrington and medical and wrap-around services throughout Berkshire County. “With medical and dental at one site, we can enhance our practice of whole-person care to our North Adams patients with easy access to dental Clinicians.”
Spiliotes said CHP is working closely with Pittsfield based Hillcrest Dental Care, Inc.
“Hillcrest had no plans to close its North Berkshire site, but after we learned that CHP was expanding their dental services, we at Hillcrest decided it make sense for us to close our North Adams facility, knowing the community would be well-served,” said Gerard Burke, president/CEO of Hillcrest Dental Care Inc.
There will be several months of overlap between CHP’s opening and HDC’s North Adams facility closing.
