National Nurses Week: A Message from Our CMO

May 8, 2024 | News

CHP Chief Medical Officer Dr. Andrew Beckwith delivered a message of appreciation to CHP nurses in recognition of National Nurses Week.

“Each year, we celebrate National Nurses Week in May, and today, I speak for all of us at CHP when I thank you wholeheartedly for the important roles you play in the lives and health of our patients. My beloved older sister was a nurse and she showed me firsthand the power of compassionate but smart caring and dedication to her work as a nurse.

If you are among the 33 nurses at CHP, you are a critical resource for our patients every day. You are essential collaborators with your colleagues and you freely share your knowledge, insights and experience. You are often on the front line helping our patients and serving as the eyes and ears for our wider care teams.

You may be a population health nurse, a registered nurse, a nursing supervisor, a licensed practice nurse, or a nurse focused on ACO care, health education and outreach. No matter what your role, your dedication and compassion are vital to the care we provide at CHP. We ALL thank you for your unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients. Happy Nurses Week to our CHP nursing colleagues.
