CHP’s Northern Berkshire Family Medicine welcomes Family Nurse Practitioner Donna Tew, ARNP, BC, as a primary care Clinician for the practice. Donna will join Dr. Anping Han in providing primary care for adults in Northern Berkshire.
A retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S Air Force Reserves, Donna is certified as an advanced registered nurse practitioner and earned national certification as a family nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She has worked as a primary care Clinician in community health centers and private practices in Florida and Arizona, including work at an Arizona prison. She served as a military nurse practitioner from 1998-2010, first with the Arizona Air National Guard, and then with the U.S. Air Force Reserves in Arizona.
She earned her M.S. in nursing from SUNY-Binghamton and a B.S. in nursing from SUNY-Utica. In 2008, she was awarded the Meritorious Service Award, Commendation Medal and Iraq Campaign Medal for her service in the Arizona National Guard. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing and the Reserve Office Association.
Donna resides in Williamstown.
