Feeling Grateful at CHP

Happy faces at our free food stand at CHP Family Services in Great Barrington.

Feeling grateful at CHP is easy—as we have so much to be thankful for: our patients and clients, our fellow staff members, donors, friends, and community partners.

In particular, CHP Family Services is especially fortunate to participate in the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts’ monthly food distribution program on the first Tuesday of each month in Great Barrington. An added benefit of our Food Bank partnership is our alliance with Big Y in Lee and Market 32 in Great Barrington.

Each weekday, these local grocers donate fresh food to CHP Family Services for the self-serve food stand at our Stockbridge Road location. Along with 45K+ pounds of food from these local grocers, other community food donations support our food security programs for our neighbors. For instance, Berkshire Mountain Bakery keeps us stocked up with fresh, locally made bread, and we have other generous donors as well!

Anyone can drop by for a self-serve grocery bag of food, right here at Family Services in Great Barrington, 442 Stockbridge Road. And if you need help with any other matters while you are here (SNAP, WIC, family support, health insurance), please come inside!
