For International Women’s Day on March 14, Greylock Federal Credit Union staff showed up at CHP Family Services in Great Barrington, to help spiff up the building serving families in the South County region. Volunteers reorganized the children’s clothing donation area and created outside food donation bins for a more orderly Family Services facility!
“These wonderful women transformed the clothing exchange and food pantry from disorganized and disheveled to two beautifully organized spaces,” said Michelle Derr, director of Family Services. “The remarks from families are all positive with ‘ooh’s and aah’s’. These simple changes have made such a huge impact to families and staff. CHP Family Services is so very thankful.”
