When you give, lives change.
Your donation is an investment in our Berkshire community. When our neighbors all receive access to quality medical and dental care, food assistance, and important family support services, regardless of their insurance status, our community thrives.
Your support is and always has been instrumental in expanding care for uninsured and underinsured patients, increasing access to women’s health services, and fighting food insecurity. For 50 years, we have grown as an organization thanks to your generosity. As we prepare for the future, which at times feels uncertain, your continued generosity will help us navigate current challenges and uphold our commitment to the Berkshire community.
While CHP does receive federal funding as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), these funds do not cover the full cost of providing treatment and services that CHP offers. Reimbursements from commercial health insurance plans to CHP for health services are far below the cost of what it takes to provide these essential services. This is where we NEED YOU. Your donation can fill the gap so that we don’t experience any loss of medical coverage and care for those who need it most.
Your gift to CHP will also go towards supporting programming such as:

- Nutrition programs that help families put food on the table
- Diapers, formula, and lactation support for parents raising young children
- School readiness and child play programs to make sure children have social and academic preparation
- Upgrades to our medical and dental facilities so that we can provide our patients with the best care possible

Why I Give
“I was raised to give back at least as much as I receive in this life. That means giving time, talent and treasure. CHP has been the recipient of all of those over a period of about 40 years as I served as a Board member on three different occasions in that time period.
I continue to support CHP as every person is entitled to live a healthy life if they so choose. State of the art, affordable and available health care are essential to promoting a healthy society.
CHP is an integral part of that equation and because I feel strongly about good health and excellent care, I continue to support Community Health Programs.”
