CHP Family Services and the CHP Nutrition team will host “Special Kids, Special Diet: A Virtual Workshop to Explore Ideas and Speak with a Nutrition Team” on Thursday, January 26.

The online talk will cover CHP’s community programs for families with special needs children, nutritional guidance, and some alternative ways to reduce stress and anxiety around meal time.
There will also be time for specific questions about your child’s diet and exchanging ideas with other families.
CHP Care Coordinator Rania Markham, the mother of a child with special needs, will lead the program along with CHP’s director of nutrition, Ashli Minor, MS, RDN, LDN; community health worker and nutrition program assistant, Stacy Strain, and WIC community coordinator and community health worker Maria Mayorga.
Registration for this free event is required. Those who register in advance for the meeting will receive an email confirmation with login details for the day of the meeting.
