Annie Schwartz, MS, RDN
Community Health Programs has named Annie Schwartz, MS, RDN, LDN, to its nutrition team. She is seeing clients at CHP Lee Family Practice and Great Barrington Health Center.
She has a particular interest in working with people seeking to resolve disordered eating patterns and develop healthier relationships with food. She is earning certification as an intuitive eating counselor.
A graduate of Columbia University Teachers College, she holds a master’s degree in nutrition and exercise physiology. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, graduating cum laude, from Skidmore College.
Schwartz has worked previously with Pyramid Nutrition Services in Pittsfield as a dietitian consultant. Earlier she worked as a research assistant at the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education and Policy in New York City.
In her dietitian internship with Teachers College, her work spanned medical and hospitality settings, corporate wellness, long-term care, sports nutrition and women’s health.
When not at work, she enjoys exploring the Berkshires with her partner and tending to her vegetable garden.
