Did you know that Community Health Programs provides vision care? And that CHP on Wheels — our mobile health van — has ophthalmology equipment that makes our vision care services available at our different practice locations in Great Barrington, Lee and Pittsfield?
Our mobile van travels with ophthalmologist Dr. Diane Singer, who is committed to vision care access for all. Dr. Singer is one of CHP’s health care heroes, and we celebrate her contributions to the vision health of our region.
Dr. Singer earned her undergraduate degree from Colgate University and then attended the New Jersey Medical School of Rutgers University. She completed her internship in internal medicine, her Residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in cornea and external disease—all at the University of Rochester Department of Medicine. Dr. Singer’s extensive experience in eye care includes serving as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at University of Rochester Eye Institute. At the Atlanta, Georgia Veterans Administration Medical Center, she staffed the VA’s walk-in vision clinic.
For an appointment with Dr. Singer, contact our Great Barrington Health Center office, (413) 528-8580, and we will find a time for you to have your vision checked, or to have any other vision concerns examined.
