On June 24th, we at CHP opened to the doors to our very new Community Market located in Great Barrington. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening to celebrate. We were honored to welcome community members, representatives from partner organizations, donors, and CHP Board and staff who helped mark the occasion.
The Community Market is essential to CHP’s mission, strengthening our ability to serve more than 1,200 families each month who face food insecurity by providing healthy food and nutrition counseling.
Thank our community members and supporters whose generosity made this project possible. This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and partnership of the Estate of Jane Braus, the Gilson Family Foundation, Representative Leigh Davis, the Price Chopper Golub Foundation, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, Greylock Federal Credit Union, Greenagers, the Town of Great Barrington, and so many others who believed in this vision.
