You can help save a life!
With a Narcan kit on hand, anyone can intervene to help in an opioid emergency. To help reduce harm from opioid overdose in our community, CHP is offering free Narcan kits to patients, clients, visitors and anyone else who requests one (or more). No questions asked.
Kits are available at CHP Berkshire practice locations and on CHP Mobile Health vehicles.
Opioid overdose is life-threatening and requires immediate emergency intervention. Family members, friends, caregivers and others who are concerned with someone else’s risk of overdose should learn the symptoms of overdose and be prepared to assist with naloxone, or Narcan.
